About Gigi.X.Jia
Financial markets sit at the center of capital allocation, risk transfer, and economic power. That has consistently shaped where I choose to operate.

I started at NN Group, building experience across asset management, banking, insurance, and pensions within one of Europe's largest financial institutions. Early P&L responsibility grounded my perspective in execution: allocating capital and managing risk in regulated, balance-sheet-intensive businesses.
I later moved into strategy consulting in London, advising financial institutions and private equity investors on capital formation and allocation, portfolio strategy, and M&A, and worked at KKR on evaluating investments, executing acquisitions and scaling portfolio platforms. That reinforced my interest in how long-term capital can be deployed to build market-leading businesses.
Financial services is now entering a period of structural redesign, as insurers, asset managers, and private capital converge. Advantage is shifting from individual products toward the integration of capital, distribution, and operating capability into scalable platforms.
I value timelessness, consequence, and thoughtfulness, which sits awkwardly in an economy shaped by attention and immediacy. Enduring value is measured not in moments, but over decades.
Based in London, with experience across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.
